Dr. Carlos Gould Lowell III, DO

He does not listen to his patients; he only listens to what HE wants to hear out of his own mouth. Very sad outcomes for many patients.

Dr. Lowell had misdiagnosed my girlfriend for a long time. She is prescribed medications that are having the opposite affects on her and medications that are not to be mixed together. His negligence has led to her life being a downward spiral and she has gotten a lot worse over time. She has not received the proper care that someone with a serious mental illness deserves.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Carlos Lowell for almost 2 decades. He has done NOTHING to help her condition, and mentally has gotten worse over the years. However, she gets him to do whatever she wants, and what she wants is medication. She self medicate’s, will not take the medication as prescribed, Her mood swings are up and down. I have sat in the appointments with her, if I say anything I have to pay afterward. My daughters have contacted him by phone, email, and letter. He has ignored all my requests. Please stay away from Dr. Carlos Lowell, he cannot help you, but he will medicate you.

with out him I couldn't ever live my life he has been the best and great dr that really listens to his patience I would get him a 10 stars. A++++ Dr. will follow him where he go's. thank you Dr Lowell for keep my head on track. Love ya dr.

I've been seeing Dr. Lowell for over 3.5 years. I liked him at first. But over the past year, my depression, insomnia, and suddenly having severe anxiety with panic attacks has gotten out of control. Now I feel like he doesn't listen to me. He's very adamant about not changing my meds very much lately, even though I feel there needs to be a change. He seems very conservative with treating my panic attacks. In addition I developed PTSD last year after a very trying life event and he said it was normal that I had it and he never tried to treat it. Thumbs down!

I began seeing Dr. Lowell for severe depression. He was very kind and patient with me as I tried to explain everything that I was going through. He ordered blood tests, and then explained to me what was wrong. He is a knowledgeable and smart doctor and is also a kind and very caring doctor. He was my doctor for more than 10 years. I only had to see him once a year for "maintaince" after he got me on some medicine that helped my depression. My husband and I moved away and I hated having to change to a different doctor. I still haven't found a doctor that I liked as much as Dr. Lowell.
