Dr. Carlos Alberto Maria, MD

He is an excetional Pediatrician. We gave birth to our first child- a son- in Dec. 2013. I had called a few Peds in our area to see if we can just schedule and bring him in a few days after birth for his Newborn check up. They all made it very difficult on me and I explained that I didn't have time to come in and "interview" a Dr. as we both worked full time until I gave birth. When I called Starfish Pediatrics, they were SO easy and that's what I needed. No stress at all. When we first saw Dr. Maria, it was a huge breath of fresh air. He was SO sweet and gentle to our little baby. If you don't have a ped or are looking to change, you need to go to Starfish Peds. Appts are fast as well. We had to take our son to a 24 hour urgent care last month for double pink eye caused by an upper resp. infection. They only treated his eyes and not his resp. infection, so we immediately went to Dr. Maria and Kai was on the mend in no time! We will never go to another ped!!!
