If every person addicted to opioids could see Dr Montano there wouldn’t be an opioid Crisis in this country. Understanding, nonjudgmental, and empathetic like a real doctor should be. More importantly, he knows how to get his patients through the withdrawal phase with the least amount pain and sickness. If only people knew... he’s an amazing person who has dedicated his career to solving addiction and helping his patients. I’ve been seeing him over 15 years. He’s saved me when I really needed it. I’ll always be grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. Montano for about 2 and a half years. He is the most caring and kind Dr I have ever met. His office staff is wonderful. If you are struggling with addiction, alcohol or drugs he is the man to Call. He has helped to change my life. No judgment at all. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Unlike most doctors, he takes his time with you, actually cares about patients, even visited me when I was in hospital due to a drug related issue !!!! The friendliest doctor I've ever been to.

Dr. Montano went out of his way to ensure that I had the right medication for a bad case of bronchitis which had been dogging me for ten weeks. I started to see positive results within one week. Prior to that, I saw two other doctors (or their physician's assistants) for the same problem... no go with that practice, but complete success with Dr. Montano. But speaking pointedly to another review on this site, I simply do not understand the irateness of a medical marijuana user who doesn't understand the protocols behind Dr. Montano's practice. This question should have been asked when this person was setting up the appointment. For gauds sake, Dr. Montano treats addictions, he doesn't facilitate them. Excellent Doctor, friendly staff and pleasant office environments.

I was looking for a doctor who can treat me for Major Depressive Disorder and ADHD. I spoke with his receptionist and explained what I needed and she assured me that he could treat me. I came in for my appointment, filled out all of the paperwork and was roomed. His assistant looked over my paperwork and saw that I use Medical Marijuana to treat the pain I have due to Fibromyalgia. I explained that I use CBD, which is a non-psychoactive cannabanoid. I have always been straight forward with my doctors about this because I realize that there could be interactions. His assistant left and then came back to tell me that the doctor would not see me because he does not treat patients that use MEDICAL marijuana! Mind you, I received this medical card from an actual pain management doctor. I explained to her that if I didn't get the new Rx's today that I would be out of meds and the last time that happened I ended up in the hospital. Dr. Montano did not have the decency to come in and address… me himself so I told the nurse she needed to get him (twice) and when he finally came he didn't even come in the door. He poked his head in and I tried to explain all of this to him but he would not listen and he walked out! I followed him and told him he was a horrible doctor to treat me this way and he just walked away like a coward. So then I left.

Dr Montano saw me right away as I was in need of somewhat urgent care. His Staff was friendly, accommodating and expert! I must have visited with Dr Montano for almost an hr and at no time did I ever feel rushed or hurried out of the office. I am grateful to Dr Montano and staff for helping me to feel my best today!! I have sent two of my friends to see him as well, they both have had the exact same experience! Wish all Docs were as patient and understanding!!

Very good service and followup. Very caring. Had an excellent staff. My wife had gone there for 3 years. First as outpatient and then behavioral health doctor. GREAT TEAM
