Dr. Carlos Montero JR., MD

After my husband going to see his primary and getting extensive blood work done. He was referred to Dr. Montero, apparently he is suppose to be one of the best. Not only did he not answer all our questions, he sent off for more blood work and told us he would see us in 2-3 weeks. For real!!! My husband had been going to the different doctors for almost 2 weeks trying to find out what was going on. He also told my husband that his blood pressure was very high and when he had a moment he needed to see his primary for treatment. When I asked him could we see him in the afternoon because I work and my husband was working (of course he had already been out of work for 2 weeks already) he said we would be given an appt and that was it. I am sorry but this doctor has no bedside manners. He thinks he is Mr. Know-it-all and don't dare ask him simple questions because he looks down his nose at you. He want the money but doesn't want to take the time care his patients. Never again will we go see… him. Guess what my husband ended up in the hospital that same week. Thank you doctor for not caring!!!!

Am a 68-year old woman; after colonoscopy, treated me like I wasn't even present; did not even discuss issues that later turned up on "Discharge Instructions" and was difficult getting copies of records made available for my primary physician. Would not see him again although I understand others in his practice group are better.

I went into see Dr. Montero after being very ill for 4+ weeks. At the time of the visit, I explained I hadn't eaten and had diarea for over four weeks. I was very weak and had already lost 14lbs. At the age of 75yrs, I was surprised to hear that he would see me in another 3weeks. That weekend, I ended up in the ER. After a week of tests, I was diagnosed with only 10% of blood flow to my colon. Will not see this Doctor again
