We were referred on a Friday afternoon in need of extensive plastic surgery related to a dog bite to the face. Willing to see us, provided the surgery and was prompt in all of the follow up appointments. Could spend more time with the details of discharge and wound care, but was never hostile when asked.

Dr.s Nani and Bergese are the most unprofessional doctors I have ever encountered. I had to deal with them due to an industrial accident, and they were both rude and downright hateful. I visited Dr. Nani for follow up to remove bandages, etc. one week after surgery and he came into the room, threw several things into the garbage can--made contact with the trash and the can several times, then wanted to proceed to remove the bandages from my fingers WITHOUT washing his hands, nor wearing gloves. He used scissors and tweezers from a table that looked dirty, and the tools were not in a sterile liquid--how did we know what they had been used on previously? When he was questioned on this, he became angry and verbally nasty. At one point, he asked me if I wanted him to put a bag over my head??!! When he finished removing the bandages, he placed a bandaid on the fingers and was going to leave the room with no further instruction as to whether the hand could get wet, how often to change the… bandages, etc. When he was questioned on this, he actually YELLED at us and basically implied we were idiots for even asking. I will not be returning to this office, and am in the process of reporting him to the state medical board. This man acted as though he was mentally disturbed. Please do not frequent this office--they are terrible doctors!!
