Dr. Carlos Robert Vigil, DO

I drove from a far distance as a new patient to see this doctor. The staff is friendly, and I have no complaints about them. BUT the DOCTOR -- well, he was over an hour late to see me in the exam room. After an hour and fifteen minutes, my patience dried up. I finally opened the exam room door to find someone to understand if there was an emergency or a sick patient issue? His wife walks by, and I asked where the doctor is. She opened the room next door to me, his office, and I can see him sitting at his desk working on his computer catching up on work--- What?? He is not with a patient? I heard him go into that room next door to me over 30 minutes ago!! That means he was sitting there this whole time. When he finally gets up from his desk and slowly gets to my exam room, he DIDNT apologize FOR RUNNING OVER AN HOUR LATE. I asked him if this is standard practice, and he said YES with an attitude. I told him I was about to leave, but since I waited, let's get this going, and he told… me NO, I need to reschedule with someone else. Who does he think he is? What makes him think his time is more valuable than his patients? Anyone can go to school and become a doctor. You are NOT special because you hold that license. Your job is to help people and take care of them. Not treat them like this. Most of my frustration stems from the fact that I take care of a sick family, and I had to make MANY arrangements to see this doctor. I was wearing a shield, double masks, and sweating in the exam room for over an hour. If I get sick, everyone I care for will die as they have cancer. Also, I allocated an hour and a half for a visit. Not three hours. I should have known what type of place this is was when I saw the signs in my exam room stating that if you request medical records, you need to pay a $25 fee; fee fee fee everywhere—rules - NO cell phones—fee for no show. I should charge them a fee for wasting my time. While I sat in that room, I had plenty of time to notice how dirty the floors and furniture are. I don't think they have been cleaned for months. I didn't see anyone disinfecting common areas either. I don't care what the people say in their reviews. He is not friendly or professional. This review is not about his medical knowledge. It is about his lack of professionalism and respect for his patients.

I love the dr's there but they never answer the phones when I call. I left messages and they never call back. They claim that they didn't get my messages. I have to show up just to make an appointment. Very disappointing.

To whom it may concern, Dr. Vigil is not a good Dr. at all, be aware of falling out of his good graces, because he is vindictive and all he cares about is his status within the San Antonio medical group. I was made aware by nurses of his unethical practices and my next move is to file a formal complaint with the medical board and with whoever else l need to bring to light of what he is within the medical community of Rancho Cucamonga.

Dr. Vigil has been my Dr. For 13 years. I have never met a more loving and compassionate soul in my life. Yes, if you have a 3PM appointment, you are going to be there for a few hours because someone else is getting their fair share of his time! Dr. Vigil has saved my life several times and to make thinks more difficult, I travel for a living and it comforts me knowing Dr. Vigil is only a phone call away. Most people don't realize or even know but Dr. Vigil also donates millions in medical care for the less fortunate, has an amazing family and would take a bullet for his patience! I now live 3,000 miles away and I still have Dr. Vigil as my primary! He listens better than any Dr. I have ever seen and his selfless compassion has no end. I am alive today many times over thanks to this Angel sent from above! It's to bad that most Dr.'s just don't give a s-it anymore about their patients and are treated as numbers and profit centers. Dr. Vigil is One in a TRILLION and you should count your… blessings every day to have the opportunity and privilege to have this man as your caregiver because you will NEVER find anyone better!

He have the worst assistants, worst secretary and appointments are really bad....Acelda (one of the workers) I don´t really know how can she sleeps thinking all the bad policies she do around the day with the patients

Will not communicate and offer information in order to make informed consent. Will not return phone calls. Worst ever!

He is a great doctor and worth the wait! He is the only doctor who was able to figure out what was going on with me and get it treated so I could live my life. I live far away but have kept him as my PCP as I feel he is the best doctor I've seen!

Never had a doctor care as much as he did!!I highly recommend him!
