Dr. Carlotta Marvette Lindsay, MD

The on-site company doctor completely mishandled my work related shoulder injury. From the start, she downplayed my pain, saying it wasn’t serious because the X-ray didn’t show anything. Any competent doctor knows X-rays don’t show soft tissue injuries. She downplayed my MRI results and falsely claimed it was from an “old injury,” even though it clearly showed a clear recent work related injury. She seemed more concerned with protecting the company than helping the patient, was nonchalant, and dismissed my concerns. I recorded every single conversation to protect myself. I was forced to drive to work every day on light duty with one arm while in pain. When I finally saw an orthopedic specialist, he immediately recommended surgery on my labrum and rotator cuff and was the one who took me out of work. If it weren’t for him, it likely would’ve taken even longer to get proper treatment. Her negligence caused the company to almost pay a six-figure settlement, which I ultimately received… due to my injury. I would not recommend her for any serious work-related injury.

While I am no longer a patient of Dr. Lindsay, I can attest to the fact that she is THEE ABSOLUTE BEST. She moved from Philadelphia to NC and I have not been able to find a Dr to compare to her in the slightest. She is SMART, Kind and she really does care about her patients. Its been a number of years since I have seen or spoken to her but I recommend HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lindsay. I so miss her here in Philly but I am hoping she is down in North Carolina changing the world. She is a absolute dream. I might have to relocate down to NC just to have her as my Dr again. Misdiagnosed me. Said I had blood in my Retina. Sent me immediately to a Retina Specialist, who found nothing wrong. After I had bypass surgery, that I discovered on my own that I needed, just 4 months after my check up with her, I asked for a referral to see a Neurologist due to pain in my neck so severe, I couldn't lad down on my pillow at night. She told me she wouldn't refer me and wouldn't see me for 90 days after surgery. In other words the woman sucks as a doctor. My cat is a better doctor than this woman. Now she's left Physician's East. I could care less where she went.

I'm an old patient from the nineties but, I have yet to meet a doctor who knew more about her patients. When I would come into her office not only did she know my name she new my girlfriends name and how late I was. Dr. Lindsay knew that my memory was questionable and took the time to write out specific instructions on several occasions. My girlfriend was held responsible for the instructions being followed to the letter. I've never had a better doctor and now that I'm back in town I'm going to try and be her patient again.
