Carly Guss, MD

Carly Guss, MD, MPH, is an attending physician in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, co-medical director of the Boston HAPPENS Program, and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in adolescent medicine, with clinical and research interests that include HIV prevention and care, reproductive and sexual health, gender-affirming care, eating disorders, and health equity for adolescents and young adults. Dr. Guss earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Master of Public Health from Yale University, and completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University followed by fellowship training in adolescent medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her work focuses on advancing accessible, inclusive, and evidence-based care for underserved youth through multidisciplinary clinical programs, research, and community engagement.
