My wife Kazuko had an appointment with Doctor Torres yesterday and she was extremely through and professional. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary Care Doctor.

DR CARMEN TORRES IS A WONDER FUL DOCTOR

even though her office was busy and it was my first time there she took an unusually long time with each of my issues. I never felt rushed or hurried.

You have to go back in for additional OV for everything!! She sent in Rx to my pharmacy for a BP medicine and after I picked it up, I realized it wasn't the one I had used in the past and had requested to use it again. Called her office 1 week after I had my OV...I was told I had to come back in. Also, I've been on the same antidepressant medication for 20 years. After my initial 6 months on it, my former primary care doctors have always given me 1 year of refills. Not her, 3 months and I have to go back to her to get refill. Blood test results.... have to go back . I have such a high deductible on my insurance, I can't keep going back and paying out of pocket. So, if you don't have good insurance, I don't recommend going to her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Torres for several years. I followed her from her last office to her new office. I have noticed that she has had a turn over in staff which I find to be a relief. Her staff now seems to have it together, they are attentive to the patients in the waiting room, I'm not over hearing the normal gossip I used too, and her medical assistant is friendly and quick. I highly recommend Dr. Torres to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate doctor!

The staff is not especially professional or friendly. Most importantly, although Dr. Torres spent a lot of time with me during my visit, she never returned my various calls (it's been one month now) after receiving some abnormal test results. What good is a doctor spending so much time with you during your visit, if once you need them to explain abnormal test results they don't call you to ease your worries or concerns? Will be finding a new doctor.
