Dr. Carmen Adeluta Vesbianu, MD

Very honest in her approach, she is empathetic and understanding, knowledgeable and kind. She is a great doctor

I was one of dr. Vesbianu 's first patients when she first came to tulsa. I have always been very cautious and apprehensive about doctors due to some pretty shabby treatment I've received from doctors i have been to in the past. My initial reaction with Dr vesbianu was very favorable. She truly seemed to care and always made the time to listen to me. See has seen me thru four surgeries and I am grateful for her diagnostic abilities. I followed her from her private practice to ou med center, where she now is an instructor at the medical school as well as treating patients. My problem with her is related i believe with the draconian policies of the ou med school in regards to certain policies which have been enacted here lately. I do not care to go any further about ou's policies (which I find to be totally uncaring and based on the current hysteria involving the prescription opiates issue). My problem with dr. Vesbianu is that I believe she has become a compromised shill in regards to… the crass policies of the ou med school. My gripe is that they seem to be treating patients in accordance to policy, instead of an individual basis of need. That is one of the main problems i have, not so much with Dr vesbianu, but with the one size fits all policies of ou med school. I have other issues with staff in their treatment and seemingly general disdain for myself and other patients at the clinic, but that's not anything I care to get into now. I am sure I will be severely scolded or be told to find another doctor and or clinic if I'm not happy with this group. I fully expect repurcussions. This complaint may seem trivial to some, but it is a very big problem with me. Dr. Vesbianu is a fine, professional doctor i feel, who feels as if she must carry the water for the people running this facility. Patients have needs and if those needs butt heads with company policy, well, we know who's going to win that battle. Sorry Dr vesbianu, I still think you are the best Dr I've ever had. My problems seem to be with the med school clinic administrtors and not so much you.

Dr. V is an excellent internist who has always helped me in a calm and thorough manner. The only complaint I have is making appointments through OU - I have waited on the phone for 20 minutes before someone took the call. Very Frustrating! I wish she would leave the OU Physicians Team and open her own office.

I don't feel I'm getting the care I need. She hasn't helped me with a weight plan, she diagnoised me with heart failure but didn't think it was serious enough to see a Cardiaolgist and I have shortness of breath she is not trying to find out why says its from my heart. She is a very nice person but going to find another doctor.
