Dr. Carol Bunten, MD

This doctor seemed to think my problem was hilarious. She ridiculed me with eye rolls and dumb responses when I asked her questions about my pelvic floor collapse. She told me to "wait until the poop is actually down there before you try to push it out" when I told her my collapse was so bad that I can't poop. Does she think I'm five years old? She did not offer any advice about how to manage not being able to poop or pee due to the collapse but would not do surgery either. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

I was told I was having a miscarriage but it wasn't really behaving like a normal miscarriage. I was passed around among medical personnel not getting an answer about what, if anything, was wrong. Eventually they scheduled me with Dr. Bunten and she took the time to listen to my concerns provide explanations and went above and beyond to get the situation resolved once and for all in a timely manner. After almost a month of not knowing and depression Dr. Bunten has given me a light at the end of the tunnel. My baby is still gone but there isn't anything seriously wrong with me, and I finally have an answer. Now I can begin healing from this.

She is very detailed, warm and thorough. She asked me a lot of questions about my lifestyle and my whole well being. Very impressed. You can tell she loves what she does.
