Dr. Gilles is awful, she does not care about her patients. Yeah if your pregnancy is fine and you don’t have any issues, you might be able to have a good experience with her and the midwives, however if anything is wrong during your pregnancy do not expect them to be there for you. She is very rude and constantly late. I ended switching to a different doctor halfway through my pregnancy.

Worst experience with this Dr. I AGREE with all the other reviews as well. Unprofessional, rude and no bedside manner. I have found a new doctor who does care about her patients.

I generally don't like to write bad reviews--everyone has an off day, right? However, this doctor was so unbelievably unprofessional, my husband convinced me to write this to save other women from visiting her practice. She misjudged the size of my uterus (I have fibroids) by 4cm. She pronounced it "huge", and said I needed an ultrasound to make sure I didn't have a fast growing cancer. What?? I thought fibroids were benign. She conceded that cancer was rare, but by then she'd truly freaked me out. Turned out she was wrong--I was still at the same size I was last year. The ultrasound technician gave me a look when I told her what this doc said, when she realized that nothing at all had changed--my fibroids hadn't grown. This doc is brusque, borderline rude, and seems to get off on making patients worry. I canceled my follow up appointment and found an amazing doctor who truly cares for her patients' well being.

She has horrible bedside manner. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis from a doctor out of state where I was previously living. She told me I was faking, and my pain was constipation- I have not been constipated for 8 years, that's absolutely ridiculous. Then she told me I need to go on birth control, but should hold off because "I couldn't afford to gain weight" (I am in the overweight category at 5"9' and 190 lbs). I understand I'm not perfectly fit, but telling me I'm a liar and then calling me obese is terrible. I went home feeling horrible about myself, and I didn't eat for 2 days because of her comments. She made me feel worthless. Please avoid!

My husband and I were disappointed in Dr. Gilles’ lack of bedside manner from the very first appointment. For example, the first thing she said to me (as a brand new patient) was a reminder about the risk of having a baby with Down Syndrome now that I’m over 35. The very first thing. But, the reason I was compelled to write this review because she missed that I was having twins in both an 8 week and 10 week ultrasound. (Instead, I didn’t find out until I had an ultrasound at the hospital at 20 weeks.) Unfortunately, patient care does not seem to be this doctor’s priority. I’d recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Bedside manner is not good, does not seem to have time for questions. Did not have a good experience delivering with her.

She don’t say anything very unprofessional

I experienced a miscarriage. I had to call several times to find out the results of an ultrasound, turns out there was no fetal heartbeat. I had to wait several days to have a D&C. She was very unsympathetic and cold. At my follow up visit she insisted I go on birth control after I told her several times I did not want to. She wrote me a prescription anyway. She had also told a friend of mine after the birth of her fist baby she was too old to have anymore children (she was 33)

If I could give this MD zero stars, I would. Being a medical professional myself, I have absolutely no idea how she is still in practice. She is simply nasty and crude to people, and I feel bad for her patients.
