Dr. Carol Lynn Herrmann, MD

We had one appointment with Dr. Hermann and she spent the first 20 mins of the appointment telling us how many different ways our daughter could die of SIDS. I am a first time mom and I had anxiety for 2 days thinking my daughter may die suddenly. When her assistant measured our daughter, she scratched her leg and the paper in the exam room was still disheveled from the previous patient. She looked at our daughter for about 2 minutes, possibly less. She did not check her eyes, ears, or neck reflexes. She did not discuss any future plans for medical care and just said everything looked fine and she would see us in a month. Her staff was not friendly at all and had very poor bedside manner for working with children, not a single friendly comment towards our daughter. We saw another pediatrician today that took almost 2 hours to find out all the information about our daughter to help us with this magical transition in our lives, showing us how poor of a job Dr. Hermann did. I would never… recommend Dr. Hermann to anyone.

Dr. Hermann is up-to-date on current medical studies. She encourages healthy living with real actionable advice. She is emotionally intelligent. She was savvy to our situation where one parent acts against the children's interest and health, has not attended any appointments in their life (over a decade) but continuously complains and sabotages their healthy. Dr. Herman acted diplomatically with this parent and helped our kids. We are lucky.

Amazing doctor who really listens to the children - always has her eye on who per patient is. I appreciate that her focus is on empowering children to fuel and nourish their bodies.

I love her, my kids love her; her no nonsense integrative approach has kept them healthy.

She's no nonsense and down to earth. I've been shut down when trying to get information from other doctors about my children's health, and she's got an open door. My kids and I love her. I especially appreciate she considers nutrition as preventative to disease.

The office is filthy... the toys look as though they have not been cleaned since they opened the place, the doctor's finger nails were dirty and she did not wash her hands coming into the room or upon leaving... she argued with my belief that soy is not good for children and her files of paperwork inside the room was just unprofessional. There is no wellness room; all visitors are in the same space. I am convinced my son got sick from visiting this doctor!

Dr. Herrmann excels in every attribute you'd want in a pediatrician, and I'd like to point out that she listens! Many doctors do not. My kids like her, and her staff, and her office. It makes my life easier knowing that she's there when we need her.

We are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and caring pediatrician. I have the bad experience as a mother with 3 children enrolled in an HMO. It was less than ten minutes a visit, and don't ask questions, there is not enough time! I went with a friend's recommendation to change, and choosing Dr. Herrmann was the best decision. With just one visit, and you will see why she and her staff are so special, and my kids love her too.
