Had this provider for a VA Compensation Exam. I find it hard to open up and I didn't want to have to talk about anything and was hoping the medical evidence spoke for itself. Instead there was a few notes telling the VA that I was possible faking the symptoms and over reporting but none of my medical evidence was talked about or reviewed. Found that a bit un professional

I was sent to Dr. McCleary for a VA compensation and pension exam. She was dismissive throughout, did not engage with the medical evidence I had, and made no effort to listen to what I was actually describing. The exam felt like a formality she wanted to get through as quickly as possible. Her written opinion contradicted records from my treating providers. I would not trust this examiner with any claim that actually matters.

Avoid. She completely ignored my statements and medical evidence. She mentioned things on my dbq that I never said and she didn't mention things I did say. I should have listened to the reviews before me and avoided her.

I did a c and p exam with her she didn’t write anything I said. I spoke in detail about what I’m going through and she didn’t write anything down. Please listen to this and other reviews about this lady. Please re-schedule. She will ruin your claim

Absolutely horrible experience as a victim of MST/PTSD. Was constantly victim blamed by the provider to the point of a panic attack. If you’re a veteran do not go here.
