Dr. Carol Tsungyi Mei, MD

I have been to her a few times and she is great. She explains everything and takes time to make sure I understands.

I had the impression that folks withgovernment insurance should be open toassignment to the Junior Doctor in the"Medical Group" Mei was transparentlyannoyed that I booked an appoinment with her on the recomendation of other friends and family with better BLUE CROSS HEALTH INSURANCE. SHE BREEZED THROUGH h&p AND SIZED ME UP (NEGATIVELYSTEROTYPED) FOR no TREATMENT IN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES. Without any test results she slipped that she felt the problems were not at a stage requiring treatmnet. She failed to examine the stated and established problem area in her physical and took pleasure in doling out bedside insults, inane personal questions and a rediculous amount of time didling in the genital area when the tumors were leg and thigh area. Classic team player for the Medical Group's Profit centers: i.e. Quest Diagnostics. Older Paitients should excercise caution. She transparently insults you for having medicare and staff will prvately tell you she is "difficult" Also she will go out… of her way to call other providers in your chart and cause problems. If you are young and have upper tier health insurance you will be steered to her or th 2 star bow tie admittedly they both are above average Physicians

Dr Mei has the softest most kindest words ever. She is caring , kind and understanding. When I found out I had cancer I thought my world was caving in until I spoke with her, her soft voice and calming words make things just a little bit better. She takes the time to make personal phone calls and explain things to you and really cares!
