Carol Weitzman, MD

Dr. Carol Weitzman is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician at Boston Children’s Hospital and co-director of the Autism Spectrum Center, as well as an associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and behavioral and emotional health concerns in children. Dr. Weitzman earned her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by fellowship training at Yale University School of Medicine. Nationally recognized for her leadership in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, she is a past president of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and former chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
