Absolutely wonderful

She is thorough and provides a very clean stitch. There is little wound care for post surgery. You are in the best hands.

Dr H is one of the best mohs surgeons for skin cancer. If you need a dermatologist to help repair your skin or remove skin cancer, see Dr H. Also she has a great stitch which is very neat and clean. It's easy to take care of at home, for post care instructions.

Had a growth on my lip that surfaced almost over night. I went to Dr. Hazan and she immediately identified it as a squamous cell carcinoma,sent it out for biopsy and sure enough it was confirmed. She removed the squamous and because of the sensitivity of where it was stitched it the next day. I am waiting for there removal as I am writing this review. I have nothing but the best to say about a terrific Dermatologist. Michael Notar.

Dr. Carole Hazan is hands down the best dermatologist on Long Island. I have been seeing Dr. Hazan for ten years and throughout that time she has gone above and beyond in her care for me. I continue to go to Dr. Hazan because I truly believe in her expertise. As someone who has had serious skin issues, it is my priority to be working with a doctor who I can trust with my life. I can honestly say that I have never felt the need to get a second opinion when it comes to my skin. Put simply: Dr. Hazan knows what she’s doing. I feel like I won the lottery by having her as my doctor. She is a blessing to me and so many others.

Dr. Hazan 's practice is too busy for the right amount of personal attention. She moves too fast without connecting, leaving a vacuum in her care. After procedure, bandage was applied very sloppy. Had to rebandage myself at home. Her assistant (who removed my stitches after a week) left one in place which became infected, requiring additional care and bandaging. No comment from Dr. H. So, bedside manner...meh. Quality of medical staff....same. Front desk....has their act together. Recommended? No. Many better practices to choose from.

She quickly saw me, almost no wait, looked at my condition, recognized it, explained it, suggested it’s cause and the treatment she recommended, sent an Rx to my pharmacy, and was lovely and pleasant and personal (remembered details of my last visit, 2 years ago, and also of my wife, also from about 1 1/2 years ago.). Her office staff was friendly, personal and helpful.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Showrd little decorum or care.

After a lifetime of sun exposure (including 4 years of USAF military service on flight lines in Asia and Florida without any consideration for sunblock or protection), melanoma caught up with me. I needed help and I needed it fast. I had a HMO and needed to navigate the whole referral process. Lisa efficiently coordinated the necessary paperwork with my PCP and medical insurance provider. I was obviously very concerned and wanted the melanoma off me ASAP. Dr. Hazan explained the process to me in a very thorough and professional manner. I admired her scientific approach and quickly realized I was in good hands.The surgery was scheduled ASAP and the results were also quickly given to me. I feel they saved my life and I am forever grateful. I have had other cancers develop and Dr. Hazan has always spotted the cancers before I was even aware of their existence. Dr. Hazan and her staff are simply the best.
