Doctor has integrity and great knowledge. She will get to the bottom of your issue if you'll let het. I trust her completely. She is thorough and kind too.

My mom started seeing Dr. OCampo earlier this year. This doctor has very long wait times and her staff is not the best, but that's not the worse. When my mom visited for the first time, Dr. OCampo ordered some blood work which showed that my mom's kidney function was low. Dr. OCampo did not send her to a specialist right away and instead assumed that it was due to her slight high blood pressure. She prescribed my mom two high blood pressure medications and ordered new blood tests to check her levels again in 2 months. After the 2 months, her kidney function had gone down even lower from 40% to 28%. It was determined that the sharp decline had been caused by one of the blood pressure medications. At that time, she sent my mom to a kidney specialist where we found out via a biopsy that my mom has a slowly progressive condition that is causing kidney failure. She has since regained some of the kidney function that she lost during that time but not all of it. In addition to this,… my mom developed a recurring cough during this time that would not let her sleep and made her feel miserable. Dr. OCampo said it was post nasal drip and gave her some nasal spray. The cough did not get any better. We let her know that the cough was not going away and she ordered a chest xray which came back normal. It was not until my mom's kidney specialist told us that a cough was a side effect of the high blood pressure medication she was still on that we realized it was the high blood pressure medication that was causing this. I'm not sure why Dr. OCampo would not know or think of this when she is the one that prescribed the medication. My mom has since stopped the medication and has been able to keep her blood pressure under control with just a change of diet and exercise.

Dr. Ocampo and her staff are amazing. The wait time is long, but no different from any other doctors office I've been to. She is kind, patient, efficient, and doesn't stretch multiple issues into multiple visits. So you may spend a little extra time in the waiting room, but will make up for that in the long run. I highly recommend!

I do not recommend her, i have been a patient for 20 years or so but the past 10 years or so have been horrible with her office. It’s apparent she doesn’t care how her patients are booked. Be prepared to wait TWO HOURS every single time for your appointment!! It’s absolutely ridiculous and that’s not an exaggeration, even look at other people’s reviews, if there’s one thing consistent- they do not schedule their patients properly or care that there is an issue with this. My last appointment was for an 8am(the office opened at 7) and because of long waits before, this time when I get in, i ask the receptionist how many people are waiting ahead of me,she says 4.... HOW IS IT LOGICAL that there are five appointments booked for her within one hour time frame when each patient spends on average at least 30 minutes with......I asked the receptionist “so then it would be about 90 minute wait?” She replied “yes per visit” and proceeds to let me know(politely) that I can talk about it… with Dr.Ocampo when I’m called in the room. Ocampo blames it on her staffing and the staffing pointed the finger at her. Its been like this for years so you think something would be done or changed but they really don’t seem to care *also as of most recently she has even switched suites and now no longer has a waiting area/lobby specifically for her, she used to have her own waiting room that had a tv and played movies while you wait but now waiting is in the public lobby right when you enter the building, there’s a tv but it only flashes ads for medicines available at the pharmacy. And there isn’t good signal so bring something besides your phone to pass the time, every visit here I absolutely DREAD because of the ridiculous and unnecessary wait.

My family members had some very negative issues with Dr ocampo. Refused treatment to old people in her consultation, walked out rudely leaving them in the room alone. On another visit she failed to even show up in the consultation without explanation. She was unethical, beyond rude, unprofessional and should be ashamed of her unprofessional conduct.

Caring doctor and kind staff

My son and I both see Dr. Ocampo as well as Nurse Practitioner Jamie. I must say that the entire staff is amazing. From the front desk to the MAs to the NPs and the Doctor. My son is blind and autistic as well as many other medical disabilities. The amount of love, patience, and empathy that they show my son is like no other. They are all understanding nd very caring towards him and I. They are all so accommodating towards his needs every visit. They talk with him to let him know that it will be ok. I recentlly moved much farther from the office for my sons education. I don't care how far, this is care and compassion that you do not find just anywhere. I refuse to switch doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Ocampo.

Great doctor and staff but the wait time is unbearable. I have been seeing dr Ocampo for over a year now and I visit every month for a prescription refill and every time I go in I'm there for at least an hour before I get called back, and once I get called back its another 30 minutes before someone sees me.

I am a police officer and needed to get my physical as part of the hiring process. I was not able to get in that week, but got in the following week. My appointment was at 1:30 and I sat there for 2 hours before she got me back only to be with me for less than 10 minutes! I will not be returning and letting everyone I know that the staff along with the Dr. Ocampo were not professional. Her staff does not know what they are doing and were very rude. Waste of my time and money.
