Dr. Caroline Dillard Brownlee, MD

I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to see her for my new patient appt. (I also arrived early, as instructed) Nurse said she typically runs behind and was very apologetic and kind. When Dr Brownlee finally showed up she was curt, unapologetic, and rushed. It was clear she didn't like me or my alternative lifestyle. She proseletized the entire time and asked very personal questions regarding my sexual orientation and seemed very judgmental. I would not recommend her although the rest of the staff was very professional and courteous. I also received and outrageous bill as the appt wasn't coded properly.

5 years ago, she diagnosed birth control pills after a full physical, because I was older. I declined & found out a couple of days later I was pregnant (via a dollar store test).I recently hit my back on a rock, while inner tubing & made an appointment. Then, 30 minutes before I was to see her, she had her staff call back to say she wouldn't see me because she wanted me to do another full physical before she looked at my injury.They wouldn't take me for a physical today & suggested I go elsewhere if I injured myself. I have her the benefit of doubt several times in the past. No longer. She doesn't seem to truly care about her patients and isn't willing to help. I would recommend choosing another Doctor.

Dr. Brownlee was courteous and conducted a complete interview at my first appointment. I did not feel rushed and believe she went to great length to form a complete picture of my health needs.
