Dr. Caroline Alana Conner, MD

Dr. Conner is exactly what I was looking for in an OB when I first found out I was pregnant over 3 years ago. She had come as a recommendation from my sister (who is also a doctor) and once my husband and I met her at our first appointment, we both felt we didn't need to look any further. Fast forward to just a few months ago and I am proud to say that Dr. Conner has now delivered my second child. : ) To begin, the staff at the office are very friendly and accommodating. I have never had to wait long after my scheduled appointment time to see the Doctor and planning my next visit at a convenient date/time has always been easy. The front desk staff, Dr Conner's Nurse Taryn and her Nurse Practitioner Yvonne, are an absolute delight to be around and with all the appointments you have during a 9 month pregnancy, I never dreaded going in to the office to see any of them. In fact, over the course of both my pregnancies, I developed a wonderful relationship with the not only Dr.… Conner, but with her Nurse and even her Nurse Practitioner. I got to know them all both professionally and personally, making the frequent visits to the office something to look forward to. As for Dr. Conner, she has always shown the perfect balance of being an attentive doctor, good at what she does and getting right to the point, with someone with whom you can open up to, be candid with and get honest answers from. I have always had great banter with Dr. Conner; we can talk about serious issues regarding my health and pregnancy, our personal lives and even joke around. I never feel intimidated by her (most Doctors make me feel that way), never get rushed through appointments and always leave satisfied that I am receiving the proper care I need. For both my deliveries, my babies were a week late, so I had to be induced. Dr. Conner was in touch with me personally, and with the nurses at Hoag, throughout my entire labor process and both times she walked into the room to deliver my boys, I felt absolute joy. Both times she visited me the next day, held my babies and chatted with me like a girlfriend would. She has gotten to know my husband, my children and my family. I couldn't be happier with my experiences over the past 3 years with Dr. Conner and having her be part of some of the most special moments of my life.

I'm not a regular reviewer but when I saw a couple of bad reviews for this doctor I had to pipe in. I went to her with peri-menopausal issues and had a procedure done to correct some issues, and my whole experience with her was great. She is more of a factual type of doctor rather than trying to be your best friend, but I don't need another friend, I need information and relief, which I got.

I have never encountered a doctor with such rude bedside manners. If you are a mature woman, find someone else. She has little compassion or time to spend with you on matters.

Where do I even begin to thank such an amazing Doctor...there are not enough words to thank such a warm, caring individual that has seen me from beginning to end. Dr Conner has been my OB/GYN and I already felt like we had good patient-Dr relationship. When I found out I was expecting my first child, I knew Dr Conner was the one for me. I truly appreciated all her advice and concerns. Her gentle guidance has made my pregnancy a swift ride. She promised me she would be there for me- and true to her word- she was there! When the crucial time came for my son to be born, Dr Conner had a hunch that the baby might be stuck. She gave me the option to either keep pushing or opt for a C-Section. It really meant a lot to me that I had the opportunity to make that decision, instead of having that decision made for me. C-Section it was! She helped deliver my perfect son. And not to mention gave me a small thin incision that will fade very nicely. Amazing, incredible, delightful...Dr Conner is… that and so much more! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Both Dr Conner and the entire staff were very professional, prompt, and caring.

Dr. Conner was a fantastic doctor. She was very knowledgeable and was extremely attentative & helpful throughout my pregnancy. I had a very rough, high risk pregnancy & she was took care of me the entire time through both hyperemesis & preeclampsia. I highly recommend her. She is fantastic!

I found dr. Conner by just reading reviews when I found it I was expecting my first child. I found her and her staff to be friendly, but felt that I was being rushed at my regular appointments. At one of my regular visits I mentioned spots that were in my vision. She disregarded my complaint saying that I should get my eyes checked for glasses. A few visits later my blood pressure was "a little high". They had me last on my left side for a few minutes then told me I could go. A couple weeks later I can I'm after multiple nights of excruciating back pain. I explained the pain and pointed out that the pain was also in my right rib area. Again I was told that she was not concerned and that it was most likely a back spasm. Two days later I had a seizure due to ecclampsia and they had to deliver my son at 25 weeks. Of course the preeclampsia could not have been prevented, but had it been given the proper attention the three times I came to the doctor with symptoms it could have been… tested and resulted in a better outcome. My symptoms we're ignored because I didn't fall into high risk factors such as age or weight. My life and the life of my son were unnecessarily put in danger because of this negligence. I would recommend finding another doctor that is attentive to all your concerns and even things that you may not be concerned with.

I am so happy to be back with Dr. Conner for my second pregnancy. She and Danielle have been so great and responsive. I'm considered high risk and they have handled my care thoroughly and perfectly. I couldn't be in better hands!

If you are considering using Dr. Conner as your doctor please read this first. I am not the person whom usually goes on and writes reviews even when I'm unhappy. However I felt I needed my voice heard as I had a horrible experience with both Dr. Conner and her office staff. I found out at 4 weeks I was expecting my first child. My husband and I were so happy. We made an appointment to see Dr. Conner and at our first visit she was not very welcoming and had the attitude that this wasnâ??t a huge deal. At our next visit which was 10 weeks we saw Dr. Conner again and she let us hear the heart beat which we had no idea we were able to hear so soon she played it for a total of 5 seconds and then said okay Iâ??ll see you next time. The office then called me around Christmas season and left me a message that I had a pee test come back with a positive for OBS. Which at the time I had no idea what this was, when I called back to speak with the nurse Danielle she was horrible. She could not… explain properly what it was and how I got it. Of course, girls you know what Iâ??m talking about, if you hear you have something you freak out. It was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. Over the course of the next few months I made various scheduled appointments in which 4 appointments I made they canceled when I got there stating â?? Dr. Conner had to go into immediate surgeryâ??. I am a working wife and had to take off time to go to the doctor and they always told me once I traveled the 15 miles to the office. When I finally decided I had had enough I called the office to have my full medical records that I had over the past 6 months with this horrible office transferred to my new doctor they sent a total of 3 pages. When I met with my new doctor it was evident that the office didnâ??t even transfer all my records. This doctor and office are numb and very unprofessional. Having a baby is a special and wonderful time in your life and they make it as though it is just another day. Again I hope this review provided you some insight and I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone.

Very comfortable to talk to and very knowledgable. She delivered my first child and supported our birth plan throughout the pregnancy and delivery. When things got a little hairy she recommended a c-section we completely trusted her direction based on our experience with her during the pregnancy. I plan on continuing with her as long as possible.
