Dr. Caroline M Fleck, PhD

I really can't say enough good things about this therapist. She's warm, empathetic, relatable and extremely sharp and intuitive. I'm continually impressed with how quickly she thinks on her feet and offers insight that seems to fit me perfectly, not to mention frames that insight in a way that translates into actionable steps toward change. She balances understanding and validation so well with practicality and current research, and comes across as very professional and yet accessible. I feel like she's really the whole package as far as therapists go. I've been seeing Dr. Fleck for about a year and have made a lot of real progress on untangling some of my toughest, chronic issues that I used to feel so hopeless about. I never feel ashamed or awkward being open with her about really personal, sensitive issues; she's very respectful and makes me feel good about myself as a person. Dr. Fleck helps me get to the heart of new issues as they come up, but also has given me the tools to feel… pretty confident in tackling some stuff on my own, like how to better communicate my needs to people in my life, reframe negative thinking, and radically accept and tolerate what I cannot immediately change. With her expertise and kindness, I've been able to course correct the trajectory of my life and feel in control and hopeful again. I will be forever grateful to have crossed paths in life with Dr. Fleck, and think she's truly a rare find.
