I experienced a postoperative staph infection while under the care of Dr. Glicksman, which went untreated for two weeks and ultimately necessitated three additional surgeries within the following 12 months. Additionally, a different size implant than the one I consented to was used during the initial surgery. My preoperative intravenous antibiotics were halted shortly after administration due to an allergic reaction. Despite my inquiries to Dr. Glicksman and her nursing staff regarding which intravenous antibiotic would be administered next, medical records indicate that I was never restarted on antibiotics prior to the initial surgery. Three days postoperative, I began to experience symptoms of infection including increased swelling and pain. Even after repeatedly emailing Dr. Glicksman about my worsening symptoms, I wasn’t seen in person until eight days postoperative. By then, my symptoms included swelling, pain, body aches, and fever. Dr. Glicksman failed to diagnose the… infection and repeatedly expressed disbelief that I had one. Nine days postoperative, I requested for her to prescribe antibiotics but the antibiotics she prescribed did not treat the staph infection. Fourteen days postoperative, due to my insistence, she agreed to perform a second "exploratory" surgery to investigate the cause of my worsening symptoms. By then, the infection had spread to my incision, causing visible cellulitis, and one of my implants had to be removed. Culture results later confirmed that I was suffering from a staph infection. Two days after the second surgery, I went to the ER due to shortness of breath and to seek a second opinion. The following day, Dr. Glicksman received the lab results from the second surgery; however, she declined to prescribe the necessary antibiotics to treat the staph infection, suggesting instead that I consult an allergist and an infectious disease specialist before she would prescribe them. Due to ongoing concern, I immediately sought treatment at the emergency room, where I was promptly started on the appropriate medication for the staph infection. During a Zoom appointment seven days after the second surgery and implant removal, Dr. Glicksman instructed me to cut my own surgical sutures and terminated our treatment relationship, stating that she could not continue with me “running off to the ER,” which to me felt like patient abandonment. The experience of losing a breast implant, enduring a staph infection for two weeks, and undergoing repeated revision surgeries has significantly impacted my physical well-being, emotional state, and financial stability. I tried to resolve this issue directly with Dr. Glicksman by requesting a refund for the two surgeries she performed, but my request was denied. I intended to use the funds to help cover the costs of the two additional surgeries necessitated by the infection. Her lack of accountability and compassion throughout this traumatic experience has been incredibly disheartening. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others considering her services.

Breast Reconstruction: If you are looking for the best, look no further. Dr. Glicksman is beyond amazing. I am proud to say she is my surgeon. She is so knowledgeable and will make you feel so comfortable. I just had my second surgery with her. From the consultation, to sizing and throughout the surgical procedure, you will feel at ease and excited. Thank you for a fabulous experience. Initial Breast Augmentation (ten years ago): After traveling far and wide for the right surgeon, I was blessed to be introduced to Dr. Glicksman. Before discussing logistics of my surgery, Dr. Glicksman enlightened me on the history of the particular surgery I was having, wanted to hear my thoughts and concerns, the positive and negative of the whole experience and what she believed was the right fit for me. Dr. Caroline Glicksman is by far one of the most greatest doctors I have ever met! She is absolutely fantastic!!! I just had my surgery done on May 7, 2019 and I can tell you this - although this severe calcification removal was anything but simple - (it was really bad!) thanks to Dr. Glickman's unsurpassed knowledge and expertise - she did what few others could have done and we sailed right through it! Omigod, I can't believe how great she is!!! Let me tell you this, there is no question in the world that this doctor doesn't deserve to be hailed as one of the greatest doctors of all time because she truly is! She is hands down the greatest! She is hands down the best! And now a note on the personal side. I found Dr. Glicksman to be extremely warm, caring, compassionate and kind but what makes her stand out even more is how deeply committed she is towards helping you! This is a doctor with a true caring heart! This is the type of doctor that we all pray to get and I… will always be so thankful to God that I found her! And now as for the staff, Kate and Kim are both so incredibly kind, caring and warm - just their pleasantness alone will assure you that you have indeed come to the right place! These people just all compliment one another! it's incredible!!! They're just all so beautiful!!! To one and all - I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Glicksman, she is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, very thorough planning your surgery. Truly cares about her patients, I never felt rushed during my consult. It was a very easy choice selecting her for my B.A. The office is beautiful & tasteful, the girls at the front desk are very knowledgeable and courteous as well, they will answer any additional questions you have by phone or email. Will definitely recommend Dr. Glicksman hands down, she's the best!

Dr. Glicksman is wonderful. Upon meeting her I felt completely at ease and comfortable. And that continues as she shares her knowledge and honesty about what was right for me. From the initial consultation, pre-op appointments, surgery and post op care, I felt completely at ease in her care and confident in the work she was doing. And, I am very happy with the outcome. I went to Dr. Glicksman for a consult in Cool Sculpting. She spent a lot of time talking to me and took her time in the appointment. She was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable. After the procedure she made sure she followed up and took before and after pictures. After 6 weeks Im loving my results! Highly recommend her for any service in plastic surgery!

I am not going to say I am not pleased with the results of what was done because I am very pleased , however another issue unrelated to her abilities as a doctor totally turned me off. I will explain. I had taken a fall walking into her office. The staff came running to behind the desk because they heard me. I walked in and explained I had fallen and they asked if I was okay, to which I replied that I had banged my shin and knees, the left one moreso. They offered me an ice pack which I applied while waiting to see the doctor. I did not mention anything to the Doctor until after I had paid and was preparing to leave. I asked the staff at the desk if they had some sort of accident report they wanted me to fill out. They said they would ask the Doctor. She came out of side office and said they don't do that. I was surprised by her response and asked why not since most places want you to fill out forms if you fall. She nonchalantly told me to ice it which was insult one. Then… she proceeded to tell me her office had gotten a safety inspection by medicare and passed everything which was insult number two. Finally she said no one saw me fall which was basically calling me a liar. I was so upset I let her walk away but mentioned to her staff that based on the Doctors comments I wasn't sure if I would be back. I wrote the doctors office and email explaining how upset I was with her reaction to my simple question about an accident form. I merely wanted to report the incident to protect her and myself. I have never received a response and doubt I will based on other reviews I've now read. It's a shame too, since I did like her work. Oh well, her loss of money, not mine.

I have been to Dr. Glicksman for several Coolsculpting procedures and am extremely happy with the results. During the consultation she was thorough and frank in explaining what was possible, and answered all my questions completely and honestly. I never felt rushed, and left the appointment with a full understanding of the procedure and the outcome. Her staff members are courteous and friendly. Appointment reminders are sent in advance so you are well aware of your upcoming visit. I trust Dr. Glicksman to tell me the truth when answering my questions and have complete confidence in her and her staff. I plan to have follow up procedures as needed in the future.

I am now 1 year after my breast augmentation with Dr. Glicksman and just had my one-year check-up. I did a lot of research before my surgery and even went to two consultations before I met Dr. Glicksman. She was the only doctor who took the time to teach me about all of the possible implants available and which implants would fit my body. She used the 3D imaging to help me decide what I wanted before my surgery and my results look just like what she planned for me. I was given really good instructions about when I could go back to the gym, and also about how I need to take care of my implants. When I saw Dr. Glicksman this week we talked about me wanting to have a baby, and breast-feeding. She said she would continue to schedule me for visits every two years just to make sure everything stays perfect. I am so happy with my results! I am so glad that I made the decision to go with an expert.
