Dr. Carolyn Anne Belfry, MD

This was probably the worst doctor's appointment I've ever had. I saw Dr. Belfry for some back pain, and she was unprofessional and seemed very uninterested. She didn't ask any relevant questions or discuss my symptoms with me. The physical examination wasn't very thorough. She didn't even tell me what she thought was wrong or explain the problem to me; she just wrote down a diagnosis (which didn't even fit with the symptoms I described) and had a nurse hand it to me after a long wait in the examination room. She also prescribed some medication and didn't discuss it with me--just put it on the paper with the diagnosis. I didn't get the chance to ask any questions about it and received no instructions on how to take the medicine. She scheduled me an appointment with a physical therapist without consulting me first (an appointment I won't even be able to go to since it was scheduled without asking me when would be a good time). I also had x-rays done on my back--again without… Dr. Belfry consulting me first--and they want me to come back for another appointment. I received no information about billing for this x-ray and have no idea how much it will cost. Between this visit, the one they want to do to go over the x-ray results, and the physical therapy, it seems like all they want to do is keep patients coming back so they get more money. I was horrified by the lack of professionalism and courtesy from Dr. Belfry and will not be visiting Ogden Clinic again after this whole back pain debacle is resolved.

No sign of compassion or comparing. Exam took 1 minute. Acted like I was a specimen instead of a live person. Prescriptions provided by medical assistance with minimal information or instruction.

My wife and I have both been with Dr. Belfry for 7 or 8 years. She is a caring, efficient, effective doctor. She doesn't waste time chatting or making an effort to be your best friend, but she takes however long it takes to find the problem and help us. We are very pleased with her service and plan to stay with her.

Dr. Belfry listened to my concerns and was very thorough with the exam....although it was painful because of my condition. I truly appreciate her compassion and how she treated me. I had a back injury and the steps she took has helped me through this issue. Thank you Dr. Belfry!

Very disappointed at the lack of care and compassion rendered to me during my appt. She was very short and sharp, didn't allow me to discuss my symptoms. I told her I was cash pay and she ordered multiple labs at my expense. I will not return nor will I recommend her to anyone.
