Dr. Carolyn Chambers, MD

AVOID!!! Ended up in L&D for high blood pressure at 35 weeks (Ohio Health was closer than my Dr in Wooster). Had borderline BP (141/91) & borderline protein in my urine (.4). Chambers came in and was very insistent on my body not being too sick to be able to handle the pregnancy anymore and that they were going to induce me immediately. I immediately called my dr even after they questioned if Wooster would be able to handle a 35 week baby. My dr told me to leave and to head to them asap. They reran my bloods & monitored me, they were very confused as to why Chambers wanted to do an induction based off of the labs & my gestational age. They would have delivered putting my baby at unnecessary risk from being delivered early. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Dr. Chambers makes what could be an awkward situation comfortable. She is knowledgeable and caring and does a great job. I have seen her several times.

Bad attitude.

Dr. Chambers was very kind. Buy most important, she listened to me. She explained the problem and treatment very clearly. She took the time needed for the appt. I felt she cared and it wasn't hurry in hurry out.

She always takes time to answer questions and is sure everything is explained. Very caring.

I was bleeding through out my entire pregnancy and I would tell her my concerns and she would ignore them. I also tested postive for trisomy 18 & had a 3D ultrasound & said my baby didn't have this. I would express my concerns to her & she acted like I didn't know what I was talking about & acted like bleeding through the pregnancy was okay. I begged her to give me an ultrasound & she said there was no reason. My baby was born with CDH. It could have been detected with an ultrasound!!!!! My baby boy never had a chance to cry or take a breath on his own. He was rushed to Childrens Hosptial where he lived for a short 8 days. If we would have known this before his birth there could have been things to do before he was born. We could have had fetal surgery or before they cut the cord they could have had him hooked up to machines so he would have never gone so long without oxygen. I could have my baby boy with me right now if only we had that ultrasound I begged for and should… have had due to all the bleeding I was experiencing. We put our lives in the dr hands trusting them because we think that they care. She is living her normal life with no guilt and we have to visit our son at the cemetery. We had no "I'm sorry" from her or a phone call to see how we are doing. PLEASE do not see this Dr I don't want another person in this world to have the same treatment as I did.
