Dr. Carolyn Alexander Gates

During my recent visit to the emergency department on November 5, 2025. Throughout my encounter, Dr. Carolyn Gates displayed a level of unprofessionalism that was both distressing and unacceptable for a medical setting. She laughed while I described my symptoms, rolled her eyes, and made belittling remarks suggesting that my condition was my fault. At one point, she stated that she “hoped i stayed in pain,” and didn’t see it as her job to treat my disease/symptoms which I found profoundly inappropriate and cruel. Dr Gates had s emotionally unbalanced and shouldn’t have patients in her care. Her cruelty as a person make her unfit for a career as a doctor. In addition to this behavior, my symptoms were not taken seriously, and I was later informed by another physician that I had been misdiagnosed. This experience left me feeling humiliated, neglected, and unsafe under her care. I believe her actions reflect a serious lapse in judgment, professionalism, and compassion. She should not be… employed to practice medicine in my opinion.
