Dr. Carolyn Young, MD

Dr. Carolyn Young was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Southern California. She attended Creighton University where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in chemistry and then continued on at Creighton University to receive her medical degree. Dr. Young completed an Internship and Residency program in Internal Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco. She then did a Residency in Radiation Oncology at University of Southern California. Dr. Young has served as chair of the cancer committee and has been a member of the executive committee at Mission Hospital. She is also a member of the tumor board at Mission Hospital and at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, San Clemente, CA. She is a member of the ASTRO and the AMA. Current hospital affiliations include Mission Regional Medical Center and San Clemente/Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
