Dr. Carrie Elizabeth Cera Hill, MD

I had a rash for several years and consulted with 2 MDs and 2 other dermatologists with very little progress. I saw Dr. Cera Hill once and she prescribed an ointment and a strong antihistimine. It was gone in about 3 weeks and has not come back. Thanks, Dr. Cera Hill!

Came in for face Problem - she explained it very well and encouraged me to see an allergist. Very pleased.

I wish I had read the reviews about Dr. Carrie Cera Hill before commiting to an appointment with her because with the online reviews that I've read it's apparent that many have similar sentiments. I had seen other doctors at Advanced Dermatology for the last six years for treating my acne. She seemed very annoyed to be seeing patients the day that I saw her. While she did ask a lot of questions she was terse and elusive in her responses. I expressed that the purpose of my appointment was to look in to alternative treatments to the antibiotic I had been taking. I prefer something topical to a pill and want to know what her thoughts are. I had seen another dermatologist who recommended using RetinA and weening off of the antibiotic and wanted to know if she thinks that is a good idea or if she had a better suggestion? She answered, "I would not reccoment that." I was open to other thoughts and asked, "What would you recommend instead?" She said, "Something else." Really?!?! … You're the expert here getting paid $100/hour to give me your professional advice. So what would you recommend? She did end up giving me some alternative options which she didn't seem confident about. I understand there isn't a cure all for acne and that you often have to try it and see. However I didn't appreciate her demeanor. I'll be tossing the Rxs she gave me and will make an appointment elsewhere in the future.

I was unimpressed with Dr. Cera Hill. Her bedside manner was definitely lacking, she seemed not only uninterested in me as patient but also in my opinions and concerns. I was basically told I can take some very dangerous drugs or live with acne. I left her office in tears. The silver lining is that my bad experience encouraged me to seek alternative therapy and I've since landed with an amazing Acupuncturist and Nutrtionist and have experienced marked improvement in my skin WITHOUT dangerous pharmaceuticals. I don't recommend Dr. Cera Hill. Though I will say the office is comfortable and the rest of the staff here is extremely pleasant.
