Dr. Carrie Davidson

Ms. Carrie S. Davidson, a Licensed Professional Counselor, has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness Studiesis from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Southern University, A&M. For 17 years, Ms. Davidson has worked with teens, young adults, and adults with various mental health and substance abuse issues within the juvenile justice system, community mental health rehabilitation service programs, mental health clinics and agencies, and her private practice. She specializes in grief-related issues, mood changes, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. Ms. Davidson has experienced her own childhood trauma/losses, struggles, and obstacles at various phases of life. She believes she has been guided into her purpose and developed her passion of being a therapist/clinician so she can be a change agent and assist others in wiping out the stigma of mental health.
