Dr. Carrie Beth Ganek

Dr. Ganek is better than any of the psychiatrists I have seen at Kaiser. I wish I could see her every other week for on going therapy. Not only did she genuinely care about my recovery and treatment, she asked the right questions and offered great solutions. and prescribed medications appropriately. I always felt better, and full of hope, after an appointment with Dr Ganek.

Excellent psychiatrist/therapist. I tried 3 others before her. She will take time to listen & talk to you. Very happy with my appts with her. Unfortunately, my insurance has changed & I am no longer able to continue. I am hoping to find a therapist as good as her.

Dr. Ganek has helped me tremendously. I feel soooo much better now. I have been going to her for a year and a half now. She is very caring and earnest. After initially discussing my issues, she increased the starter dose of medication my family doctor had started me on. We have worked together to get the right combination of medications and dosages. I see her every 2 months to evaluate my progress. Since it is a HMO appointments are hard to get, but that's not her fault. I have to admit I feel uncomfortable at my appointments. I often feel as though she is judging me or feels sorry for me, but it's probably my own insecurities or my own hang-ups about the shame & stigma associated with depression and anxiety.
