Dr. Carrie Ann Lembach, DO

I was transferred couple years ago from another Dr in the practice that felt Dr Carrie Lembach was more knowledgeable to handle my eye health as things had changed. I was at first hesitant yet Dr Lembach sat with me, took the time to explain what steps were next. I am her patient to this day.

I saw Dr. Lembach earlier this morning as a new patient, and I was beyond impressed. From the moment I walked in the staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. I had little to no wait. Dr. Lembach took her time explaining the procedures she does for my eye condition and really broke it down for me to understand better. She was very friendly and personable, I'm happy I finally found a doctor who cares about my eyes and me! Over all, great visit! Would highly recommend her!

I had an eye exam with Dr. Lembach for the first time. I told her upfront that I wanted to get an up to date eye prescription. I was her last patient and she hurried me through the entire exam. This was the worst eye exam I've ever had, it lasted maybe 5 minutes. She said my eyes were very dry and I needed to go on Restasis right away and she would see me again in about a month. I mentioned in our conversation I only have dry eye trouble at night and I wasn't comfortable going on Restasis. She seemed to be more concerned about rushing through the appointment. I stopped by the front desk and I asked again for my prescription. The person at the front desk said she left for the day. I called the next day and was told that Dr. Lembach will not give me a prescription until I am treated for my dry eyes. I told the person on the phone that I decided not to go on Restasis. I was told I would have to pay for another eye exam when I return in a month. The person said Dr.… Lembach didn't do a complete eye exam the first time. and she will not give me a prescription until my eyes were treated. I told the person on the phone I already payed $200 for a visit and I'm not paying another $200 for the next visit. I took my business else were and the new doctor spent over an hour with me and gave me all the time that I needed and said my eyes were in good health. When I told the new doctor I have dry eyes at night he told me many options that I can try and he gave me Retaine for free that I could try and see if it works and not once did he mentioned Restasis or said I needed treatment for dry eyes. The new doctor kindly wrote me a prescription for new glasses and told me to call if I had any questions. The new Doctor has been in business for many years and has had wonderful reviews. Best advise Do your research first before scheduling an appointment with a doctor. It's amazing what you can find by doing a google search on a doctor. You can find a lot of information besides reviews about doctors that is all public knowledge. There is a reason why doctors want to push certain meds.
