I've been seeing Carrie Stallings since she did a surgery on an atypia in 2017. She wasn't a warm personality then, but I can understand a focused doc isn't always the personality award winner. Since then I have had multiple interactions with her and her office. ALL BAD. I gave them many chances to be caring, reliable docs and they have failed over and over. I'm done...

I have been seeing Dr Carrie Stallings for 2 years now. She has helped with the close surveillance after my breast cancer. She did the surgery to remove the cancerous lump. I find her to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I trust her with my life. She is also warm and caring and has a great bedside manner. I will continue to see her.

I was a bit freaked out after reading some of the old negative reviews on this site. I saw Dr. Carrie Stallings today after having an abnormal mammogram at Northside Hospital. I was able to get an appointment in less than a week. The office warned me many times to plan for 3-4 hours of seeing various medical professionals. Each person whom I saw was kind, caring and very professional. I REALLY liked the P.A. who works with Dr. Stallings - Lisa Hutchenson. She was extraordarily thorough in both examination and explaining things. Dr. Stallings was prompt, once I was ready to see her. She was caring - and again, explained things to me thoroughly. She took time with me and did not rush out of the room. She was extremely professional. I felt like I made a good choice with Dr. Stallings. All in all, I was in the office for a bit over 3 hours but I also saw 4 different people and I was adequately warned to allow this time. Don’t believe those negative (and old) reviews!

Today I've had the most horrible experience with a doctor I've ever had in my life, Dr. Sallings. I came in for a consultation for a minor atypia in my right breast. So small that MRS didn't even detect it at first. I've had a biopsy a couple of month earlier and was advised to go in for a consultation about what to do next. So, I came to see Dr. Stallings. The night before my appointment I spend hours filling out paperwork and included pretty much all my medical history, charts and tests. When Dr. Stallings came in, she had no papers at all. Nothing! Nothing that I filled out explaining my situation. First thing she tells me is that I Have To Have Surgery! I said that I would like to avoid surgery, especially since what I have is so small that it can't even be detected. She said: "Well, if you don't want to have the surgery then our doctor/patient relationship will not work out, but don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings. I don't care for you". I've never heard such a thing in my… life! How can you tell this to a patient who obviously just wants to find out more information before she decides to have a surgery. I have no family history of breast cancer and my diagnosis was minor so obviously I wanted to find out more about other options.. Following this, I tried to ask more question about possibility of another mammogram or an MRI, or any other option that would be available to confirm that I even need the surgery. She said that MRI may not even show anything, you have to have the surgery. After about 30 minutes of this harsh, rude, and insulting conversation I decided to just get up and leave. I will NEVER go to Breast Care Specialists again or have anything to do with Dr. Stallings. If I could give 0 stars I would. Find another doctor!

In a hurry, brash & spent about 5 min with me. Told me something suspicious was found & asked her nurse to schedule biopsy. That was it. It's a great practice, bottom line is that it's a 3 or 4 hour day there. Don't have a problem with that, had a problem with the doctor.

My yearly mammogram revealed a nodule that was not present last year measuring 7mm. After returning to the mammography room and ultrasound rooms 2 more times since the initial screenings, I knew something was amiss, especially when the radiologist came to do the final ultrasound. Impressed that they the staff was being so thorough, I was disappointed in the cold manner in which i was given the information by Dr.Stallings. Considering that I was contacted 3 times to reschedule my appointment over a course of three months, I was not very happy going into seeing this "new" Doctor. The third time I was contacted to reschedule due to Dr. Stallings calendar, I refused to reschedule and asked for another Doctor. I was given my appointment with a one hour delay. (My Doctor, the founder of Breast Care Specialists, just retired this year.) I found this quite annoying since I am a business owner and manage my appointments around my business. Perhaps Dr. Stallings was given a heads up to me before… even meeting me given the circumstances. Anyway, I elected to have the lump biopsied rather than waiting six long months to have another mammogram to see if there were changes. (Who wouldn't want to know right away? On to the biopsy. The staff was friendly and caring, the Doctor showed absolutely no concern to me whatsoever. She in fact was rough and brutal and it took everything I had to keep my composure. I was left with a bloody breast after the biopsy. To add insult to injury, I was told I had to have another mammogram before I left. Smashing a cut bruised breast on the machine was extremely painful. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling with this Doctor and while I am awaiting the results, I am looking for another Doctor outside this group. I know there are other caring Doctor's out there and I only hope that Dr. Stallings will grow more compassionate with time and experience. A 30 something at best cannot possibly relate to a 50 something at worst.

The wait time was more than 4 hours before I saw the doctor. The staff was unorganized and uncaring. Dr. Stallings did not answer questions. The entire experience was poor. I will find another practice. She even referred to the office as a zoo regarding the organization.

Dr. Stallings is very detailed, knowledgeable, direct, and compassionate. She works at Breast Care Specialists in Atlanta. When a tech thought she saw a lump, Dr. Stallings immediately recommended a biopsy, and when the tests confirmed cancer, she called me at 7PM so I wouldn't have to wait over the weekend for the information. She spent a significant amount of time on the phone answering every question we have. Incredible. We could not recommend Dr. Stallings or Breast Care Specialists more highly. They are the difference in stage 1 vs. more advanced discovery of cancer because the lump did not show up on a mammogram.
