Dr. Carter Craig Crouch, MD

After a surgery I did not need I was in the worst pain of my life. He insisted the surgery always worked and suggested i have a nerve blocked for 6 months. Basically calling me a liar and telling my husband it was in my head. Went to another Dr whom did an x-ray and in a few minutes said I had a broken bone. Dr.Crouch left me in horrible pain for 3 months. He chose to disregard my words when he could have done an x-ray that was right there on his floor of Fondren orthopedic hospital. Go see Dr. Luo in the same building. He knows what he is doing and is in no way arrogant. I don't know how he sleeps at night knowing what he did to me.

Everyone in this office was SO professional. The front office staff was super efficient and got me in right at my appointment time. His nurse, Dee, was friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Crouch was superb! His bedside manner is warm, he pays attention to what you're saying, and he thoroughly addresses your questions and concerns. My hand required a custom brace (made within the office) and that gentleman was awesome too. I just can't say enough good things about my experience there and would recommend both the doctor and the practice to anyone!

Dr. Crouch has perform major and minor surgery on me over the ten plus years I have been seeing him. I think the first surgery was a blackberry thorn that I had tried to dig out myself unsuccessfully. I was in the office and he stared to work on it and was a little more work than he or I expected. He was able to remove it and it was a double barber thorn that caused the problem. Dr. Crouch also has done CarpL tunnel on not hands and the last couple years have been related to thumb join it the hands with the right being the worst. He has told me that my pain level is not bad enough to operate yet. I am one that does not want to get on arthritis medication so I am using Voltaren to alleviate pain. I have been happy with his surgery, and other honest diagnosis.

Dr. Crouch is an incredibly plain spoken doctor who tells his patients the absolute truth. He completely explains the surgical procedure and post-op requirements. He has a great deal of experience, which he is happy to share with his patients. He also has a dry sense of humor and a great bedside manner! I highly recommend him for hand issues!

Would not let anyone else operate on my hands ever again. Staff was always helpful and pleasant.
