Dr. Cary Jeffrey Bortnick

I never write negative reviews, but I need to write this one. Dr. Bortnick has left me speechless, literally, from the way he has treated me. On my last visit, he interrupted me as he read my blood test results, saying “wait till I finish reading to ask me questions”. One of the test results indicated that I may need to inject myself with vitamin B12, which made me flinch and I made a face. He said, almost in anger, “You are making a face.” I said “yes, because it sounds painful to inject myself”. We went back and forth and at one point he said, again almost in anger, sort of challenging me, “Are you my wife?” I said “No”. He said, “then why should I care?”. I said “because doctors are supposed to care”. He acts disrespectfully to say the least, dismisses patients’ concerns and acts like questions from a patient are a direct offense to him.

Misdiagnosed my mother 17 years ago with dementia and had her on a lot of medication. I disagreed with his diagnosis and he went off on me in front of his other patients and staff and asked us to leave. She is now 95 in good health and no dementia. She had lived alone in her home all these years.

I would not recommend Dr Bortnick.... just orders test to keep you on the hook.... all tests ended up a waiste of time..... locked me in quarantine for 3 days with unessisary Covid test that was negative. Went to Medical School in Mexico.... a matter of time till this guy loses his license. The pandemic is exposing bad Dr.

I was the only person in his office waiting to see the doctor. For 20 minutes he spoke in a loud voice about watching TV in the sixties. I guess because he watched so much TV in the sixties, that might explain why he couldn't get into an American medical college and had to go to a medical school in Mexico. I might go to him if my dog gets sick.

Dr Bortnick was great, thorough but the reception desks ladies seemed very rude and not welcoming. Then i received a bill for my wellness visit because Jackie coded it wrong as a regular visit. I called to have her correct it and she said she didn't have to since i was going for additional testing.. which i explained would come from a 2nd visit. she talked over me, was loud and rude and kept interrupting me. I will not return HORRIBLE service. She should be retrained on how to medical code and should not be in a customer service role because she is very unprofessional!!!

He doesn't deserve any stars. A real jerk.

Best off the best my wife have been a patient off DR Bortnick for years and three times he has save her life. We love you Dr.

Horrible bedside manner.

One star to much for this misogynistic man Cary Bortnick is a massive jerk! He was very disrespectful to my wife! He wouldn’t let her explain her symptoms and would incorrectly explain to my wife what her symptoms were. Also, due to a past interaction with Mr. Bortnick (yes I put Mr. on purpose due to his lack of professionalism) my wife felt necessary to bring another male adult with her. Once my wife stopped treating Mr. Bortnick like a god he thinks he is, He started to address the other male adult rather than my wife, who was the patient! I do not recommend this disrespectful Man to care for anyone! Especially women due to his mistreatment of them!
