Dr. Cary Scott Idler, MD

Saw Dr in 2020 . Couldnt remember wheni pulled in why i was not pleased with the place. saw Dr Jones for my hip he was great - def said I needed a back dr to assess my pain my in my legs> I saw Dr Idler and when i saw his PA who did minimal assessment the Dr came in with a folder said it has to be hip i explained the hip Dr tried to replicate the leg pain when moving my hips he couldnt make it hurt. This back dr said lets do another MRI bc things could haev changed since DEC . I can barely walk BILATERALLY my quads and shins are so painful my left hip isnt even bad . As he is talking to me with folder he never assessed me -then walked out and said maybe try a nerve med that could help - I then sorta laughed to myself do I just pull it out of the air that is a med a dr needs to prescribe. He is not a good dr was in there less than 10 minutes and I have been in extreme pain for over 2-3 months in both legs and shins and he just said get a intra articular shot I said well if… I do that with steroid Ill have to delay surgery even longer " oh yeah " Never ever again . He needs to retire. I was the last patient of the day I would think he would maybe take a different type of xray to assess other problems that could be going on no. I am so disappointed . But Im just another number - the PA she was not helpful either assessed for 6-8 minutes didnt ask questions will let the hip dr know Ill never go back to him and Ill tell the referring dr how AWFUL he is and was and i wouldnt send ANYONE else to him EVER again

Pa came in first she did not believe me she was very rude seen him for a min and was done just refer back to the pain docter some days I can’t hardly walk

I saw Dr. Idler in 2012, I had to be transported via wheelchair, he did multiple level fusions. He's amazing, I'm doing well, especially walking. Thank you Dr. IDLER

Great first visit! Waited over an hour for follow up visit. See t less than 2 minutes with the Dr.

Fixed my neck from an old injury that had caused 3 spinal cord impingements, picked up one area that was missed by Radiologist reading. 110% satisfaction.

As a doctor, he is a good doctor. BUT his staff, is very poor. His Nurse or so called nurse, is a joke along with the other staff at other locations. One of the nurses made a comment that was out of place, and was not her concern. I was told by the doctor that the metal had collapsed and needed to be repaired. Come to find out it had not collapsed. But like I said, as a doctor, one to ten scale... about a seven and his staff about a five

After back surgery my wife was sent to rehab 2 hours from Dr. Idler. She began to have problems and I tried to get Dr. Idler to call me and give me some advice. I called numerous times but never got a contact back except once or twice on my answer machine by his nurse. Never a call that reached me. My wife passed away and I called Dr. Idler's office and told them on their message machine that she had died but I never received any calls from them. I'm very disappointed in this treatment.

Dr Idler operated on my lower back in Sept. My lower back now feels great. While I was being prepped for surgery he came in and I told him my back actually felt a little better that day. He told me it wasn't too late to cancel. He was honest and never pressured me in any way to have surgery. He made sure I exhausted all options before deciding on surgery. Dr Idler truly cares about his patients.

Dr Idler helped me. He explained my back problem to me in a professional manner. He is the best. In my opinion some of his office staff could improve!
