Cary Meyers, MD

Cary Meyers, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon who obtained his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr Meyers completed his internship, two residencies in general and cardiothoracic surgery and a research fellowship in surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Since 2015, Dr. Meyers has been a cardiothoracic surgeon in Daytona Beach and an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. In the U.S. Navy, Dr. Meyers distinguished himself during Operation Enduring Freedom in Landstuhl, Germany, among many other appointments. He received the Meritorious Service Medal in 2008 and retired with the rank of Captain after 28 years of service. Dr. Meyers has an extensive bibliography of published works, abstracts and presentations and has lectured at medical conferences around the United States.
