Dr. Siegel attended University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, followed by residency and an ambulatory care pediatrics fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Siegel is double-boarded in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Siegel joined the faculty of the Departments of Pediatrics and Ambulatory Medicine in 1989. His scope of practice included general pediatrics, adolescent medicine and emergency care. He also spent several years as pediatric consultant to the Sleep Wake Disorders Center. participating in various hospital-wide committees, Dr. Siegel served as Medical Director of the Adolescent Pregnancy Program from 1993 to 2001. In 2001 he joined the Pediatric Emergency Service as a full-time faculty member.
