Dr. Caryl Heather Rosen, PhD

Dr. Rosen has provided the utmost excellence to my well-being and treatment of acute anxiety and OCD. She has always been there to listen and provides a compassionate hand to help others when they are struggling. I have been seeing her for 5 years and she has given me tools to learn how to cope with every struggle I have been through. Thank you Dr. Rosen.

Dr. Rosen was warm, comforting, and easily connected with my 10 and 16 year olds. Her advice was not always easy to hear, but in the end my family is stronger, more loving, and no longer in constant conflict.

She tells you she will do her best in less than 12 sessions. Well she will sweetly and happily Accept your money and give you 45 min of her time for a 1 hour appointment. Maybe that’s ok? She will also gladly bill you several times over for missed appt with your teenager and not tell you they are several no shows. Maybe that’s ok too? In my opinion and from my experience, she is quite crafty to destroy relationships in families. She told my daughter “once you graduate college, you will never need to talk to your mother again.” She did a similar thing to a business colleague of mine. She seems to assist in the alienation of people. Our goal was to pay her to help re-kindle relationships. I’ll admit that it can be difficult to find good mental health professionals but i have found several awesome social workers and psychiatrists. She is a certified psychologist so that’s good but I would recommend to look around. Don’t make her convenient location a factor in choosing her. It’s… worth a drive to go to the right person. I think Dr. Rosen is probably fine for certain issues such as loss of family members. I would never suggest to use her if you are an adult woman. I think she turns against young moms and positions herself as the heroin I know that sounds wacky but I don’t trust her. She was very unethical with me and my family. She know it too because I called her out on it. One last think to note: She never offered help for obtaining medications either which I find very unusual. My daughter needed some help and she never thought to get her diagnose or help her with her real genuine issues. Maybe that’s not so bad but she needed help. Talking sometimes is not enough. Look further!

Dr. Rosen was there for our family through grief and loss. She is everything we could have asked for in a therapist.

When our child began regressing and acting out over changes and losses within our family; we were at a loss as to how to help her. She already had overcome many neurological challenges but, was quickly deteriorating both emotionally and behaviorally when Dr. Rosen took over her care. Dr. Rosen has been there in the trenches with her, through the good, the bad and the seemingly endless string of events she has had to face. We can not begin to thank her for her devotion to our very difficult case; and our child now knows she can trust Dr. Rosen to be there for her no matter what lies ahead.

Dr Rosen has seen me through some of the hardest, most challenging times in my life. She is kind and compassionate, present and understanding, knowledgeable and insightful. Incredibly grateful to her and thankful for her — she’s truly been a lifesaver.

We began to see Dr Rosen after my husband (and my daughters father) passed away. My daughter was 7 years old. She has helped her (and I) tremendously!! We saw her for some time and when things seemed pretty stable, it was Dr Rosen that suggested we start to taper off. I never felt like she pushed more sessions. She was kind and compassionate and perfect for my daughter to help her through a terribly difficult time. Even after years of not seeing Dr Rosen anymore, we had a bump in the road and needed to see her ASAP and she immediately responded and got us in to see her within 24 hours. I can’t say enough about her commitment to her calling. Wonderful lady!

She is gentle and understanding. I don't know why this person who rated her poorly did not like her! She has helped us so much. We highly recommend her.

Don't waste the time of our child or yourself with this lady. She has no clue.

Beware of this Dr. She is quick to diagnose and say your child needs many sessions. All she wants is your money.
