Casandra Michelle Spreen, MD

Dr Spreen is an amazing OBGYN. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She provides the best care, takes her time with her patients, answers all questions and provides the best patient education. She acted quickly during my labor with my son. Both mine and my son’s vitals were dropping and she performed an emergency c section which I believed saved us both. My scar was minimal and healed incredibly. She provided so much empathy and understanding during my recent miscarriage. I can’t recommend her enough!

After I became pregnant with my miracle baby I was assigned to Dr. Spreen. I saw her 2 times. The first visit she did not check me. She simply and rudely told me that she had no idea why I allowed myself to get pregnant knowing I was A. Going to have a difficult pregnacy and B. Overweight. At the time I was 40 pounds over weight and 26 weeks pregnant (I was transferred from a civilian doctor.) The next visit she again did not check me but kept carrying on and belittling me for my weight and this time mentioned she didn't understand how overweight people allowed themselves to get pregnant. She left me waiting in the room and "forgot" me....so another appointment I was not checked, only belittled. I ended up in L&D the next day from bleeding and hospitalized. If she would have listened to me instead of just fussing about my weight.....10 of which I haf gained during pregnancy she would have known I was having issues.

Excellent provider . Could not recommend any one better !
