She will not be your doctor if you use nicotine - her words not mine - set in stone. I saw Dr Gulledge 3 times. I went seeking evaluation of a painful ankle tendon and to get a second opinion on a recent bunion surgery. I also have several issues with both feet and was very hopeful that she would be able to help me however I have not been able to quit smoking. Despite that I never received the tendon evaluation I was seeking as she wanted to focus on the bunion and four hammer toes. I also have a floating sesamoid under that big toe joint that is causing intermittent excruciating pain. On my second visit she said she could give me an injection to help the pain until it was surgically removed. On the third visit there was no offer for help with the pain even though I let her know that it had gotten much worse and was also causing severe sciatica. All she did is suggest that I put a pad in my shoe. I did however learn that my bunionectomy is healing very well and very fast - despite my… continued use of tobacco. Good to know. Since I never received any treatment I can not offer feedback of that nature. She seems very knowledgeable.
