Katie made our experience at children's hospital horrible. Anytime she needed to go a little above her normal work load she acted extremely inconvenienced. One time she even complained about having to leave her downtown office to provide extra care for my little brother. When he was experiencing excruciating pain she didn't check on him or even care to run scans. After weeks of this pain scans were finally ran only to find out the tumors had grown significantly. If Katie would have taken a moment to see her patient she would have realized he needed a scan done. This would have saved us weeks of horrible pain and prevented the cancer from rapidly growing. Months would go by and we would see no sign of Katie. When we were in contact with her at meetings she was rude and harsh on a 17 year old boy. During my brother's last days living she didn't even come talk to us and when she saw us standing in the hall she walked right by without even waving. Katie is cold, lazy, and doesn't want to… do any work above and beyond the cookie cutter treatment plan. She expects everything to be easy and doesn't belong working with children.
