Dr. Catherine Benbow, DO

I've had very different experiences with Dr. Benbow. She is always caring, listens and is willing to answer all my questions. She always remembers me and my girls, and remembers what types of illnesses we have had in the past when talking to us about our current situations.

It always takes 3-5 days to get into see her. When you do get in, not a whole lot of time is spent discussing the problem. Looking for a new primary care physician.

She has no care anytime I go to see her, I've had issues with cysts for months and she always writes it off as a uti and says she's sorry there's nothing more she can do. Absolute waste of money every time I see her

If you want someone who doesn't care about you, go to this person. I hesitate to call her a 'doctor' because she cannot care LESS about your health, she is more concerned with making sure Cox gets all their charges filled in correctly. Don't even TRY to discuss anything else besides the ONE issue she is coding for . . . you will have to make another appointment. What a rip off, and to pay thru the nose to be treated like dirt? No way.

I had a simple question about my medicine but had to wait four days to get an answer because she wasn't in the office and didn't take messages when she was out of the office.

She would not listen to anything I said. Told me I was wrong about everything. I had to fight her to get new perscriptions forn the medicines I had been taking for years. Didn't believe the psychiatrtist who prescribed ADHD meds to my 14 year old. Wanted to take him off of it. The who experience has been a nightmare. I am still; dealing with her incompetance 6 months later trying to get her to work with me and my insurance comapny. She was on a complete power trip I will never tsend anyone to her ever. I also have serious doubts about the cox medical in general
