Dr. Catherine Ann Heltsley, MD

I was very nervous when I first met Dr. Heltsley. I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. My surgeon referred me to her and she was very kind and explained what she was going to do and what course of treatment would be. Through chemo, a mastectomy and radiation I am now so thankful I'm cancer free! I still follow up with her every few months. I would recommend her highly.

I have stage 2 hers breast cancer love Dr. Heltsley and her girl are the grates spends time with me and answer all the question I had you can call any time love love them

my visit was in 07 I thought she done a good job, seem very nice, concerned answerd questions took time with me my visit was due to a blood diese, now I need info again regarding more problems and wanted to go back to her but unsure now due to the reports here that I have read, remember staff seem not all that nice but did like the doc but my problem was serious but not as serious as the other reports here

It's sad when you have a family member who is dying of cancer and is in pain, that a doctor who is suppose to provide pain management, does not. It should not be such an issue to get needed medication!!! I warn anyone who needs treatment not to go to this sorry excuse for a doctor. There is no compassion left in this women. The staff is rude and does not listen to concerns. They also attempt to "fuss" at family members because the cab was late for an appointment, REALLY. It makes me sick as a healthcare professional that doctors and nurses could be so cold to people who are in need of a caring and encouraging environment!

Tried to make an appointment and was told to call back in 2 weeks because the doctor was on vacation and they weren't taking appointments at that time. Second call was made and I was told to call back in a week. Third and 4th call--they said they'd have to call me back. They never did call. Thankfully there are other oncologists in the area, but not very many.

Stage 4 lung cancer, spinal cancer, bone cancer....completely missed. Thanks for nothing
