Dr. Larned has saved my life.

Dr. Larned was my psychiatrist in Massachusetts years and years ago. My mother and I were crushed when Dr. Larned told us she would be moving her practice to Pine Island Florida. We loved her so much we decided to move to Pine Island too so I could continue seeing her for therapy and medicine. Things moved along until one day Dr. Larned told me during my session with her that she was downsizing and would have to let me go as a patient! Wow, my mother and I moved to Florida so I could continue therapy with her and she let me go? Very rude, unprofessional, unethical and selfish.

Dr. Larned is the most knowledgeable and perceptive Psychiatrist I have worked with; including N.Y. and PA. She has seen me through many major crisis over the years. I m more successful , confident and peaceful thanks, in good part, to her.

very friendly and the best doctor I have ever dealt with. A real doctor who cares about you. Dr. Larned really separates herself from other doctors in the field I was truly impressed with your nice facility and the caring staff and friendly can do attitude and smiles Getting my prescription filled was fast and simple. It was great not having to wait so that I could get back to my day. Dr. Larned ranks as one of the best doctors in her field in the country!

She’s terrible and her license should be taken away. She’s more concerned about getting paid then helping patients. She’s very strange and creepy and doesn’t say much until it’s time to pay. Also, she has no A/C so it’s really hot and swampy and no lights work. Beware of sneaky fees she’ll try to make you pay too. Overall terrible experience and terrible doctor. STAY AWAY!

I believe that Dr Larned is primarily concerned about her money and not the patients health. On several occasions she indicated that she had no record of what medications I was on and would ask me to remind her what I was taking. On another occasion my mother's dog took a dump in her parking lot. All I heard during my session was the necessity that I clean it up. When I had a family emergency and cancelled an appointment a day in advance I documented the emergency yet Larned sent me notice that I owed her $103 for the appointment. She then refused to renew my prescription unless I pay the penalty. I'm on disability and she knows that $103 is weeks income. She has since given notice that she turned the account over to a collection agency and expects me to pay her, when I've gone on to another DR.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, she is unprofessional and not concerned with her patients well being. more concerned with herself. her only concern is putting you on medication. Unethical!

We were desperate to find a psychiatrist for my 14 old grandson for whom I was guardian. After a suicide attempt at his private school he was hospitalized and put on medication in Pa. and discharged to me in Ft Myers. Dr. Larned agreed to see him when no one else would. His pediatrician of 6 years refused to see him or provide even interim meds and referred us to Tampa for treatment. Dr. Larned saved all our sanity. She was reassuring to all of us, and most important to him. His recovery was excellent. As a retired psychotherapist myself, I know how to evaluate others.

Very knowledgeable

after many yrs of visits to Catherine larnerd, I have been dismissed as a patient cause I moved out of state. I was treated rudely demanding money for a conference which would not occur. she has no feelings for her patients. meetings no longer than 5 to 10 mins.
