Dr. Catherine Louise Lowder, MD

I have been going to Dr. Lowder for at least 15 years. I do see the NP at times but am always able to make an appointment with her. She is kind, caring and has excellent bedside manner. She has always appropriately sent me for testing, consults when needed. I consider not only my doctor, but a good friend and someone I can easily confide in.

She was my doctor for way too long while she pushed drugs instead of finding the problem. She dismisses everything and pushes you out the door. She will spend zero time considering other options when hers do not work. Lazy and underunformed on any new treatments. She is easily offended if you suggest other types o treatment other than pills. She is worthless if you have a real problem. I wouldnt send my dog to her.

Dr. Lowder has a very nice bedside manner. However, every time I saw her she diagnosed me with a "virus." I never felt she took the extra step and what was going on. If you have a mystery problem I would not recommend Dr. Lowder.

Dr. Lowder has been my primary physician for years and I love her. She is personable and careing. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lowder has a very relaxed presence and shows interest in what I have to say. It is comforting to know that my doctor understands what I am trying to communicate and takes me seriously.

While she is technically my doctor, I have only seen her once when the NP was on vacation over the past 6 or 7 years...that is why I am looking for a new doctor.

I appreciate Dr. Lowder's skill and personality. She has always been very thorough and interested. These are the two traits that I have been seeking in a Doctor for years.
