Dr. Catherine Ann Mcdoniel, DO

I have seen Dr. Mc Doniel three times. I have never had to wait an inordinate amount of time. She is always pleasant, attentive, knowledgeable, and she listens. I highly recommend her.

Kept telling me, "there's not enough time for all this. You need to schedule more time" like I get that option when I schedule Very condescending. Rude. Dismissive. Refused to treat certain issues. Just an all-around nightmare. She's shouldn't be working with people, let alone people who need help.

I went to see Dr McDoniel for the first time, I was a new patient to the C&R group and chose to see her. They knew it was my first visit ever, the staff was very nice! I got to my appointment 20 minutes before hand to fill out paperwork. I got called back at 225 when my appointment was at 2. The nurse was nice gave her all my medical history, she left and said the Dr would be right in. I sat in the room and waited until 3pm and walked out to leave because I had another appointment at 330. As I am walking out, I see the Dr walking towards me and stops and says "Where are you going come back" I said "I was leaving because I have another appointment at 330" She says "Well why would you make an appointment so close together?" So I replied " Well my appointment was at 2pm, I didn't think it would take an hour to see you since I have never waited that long to see a Dr ever." She looked at me and gave me a snappy reply with "Well I am only one person! My other patient took to long!" I wish I… got up and left right then and there, but figured I had already waited this long, and needed to be seen by a Dr. She seemed very knowledgeable but I couldnt get past her attitude.

After waiting over an hour and a half, I asked when the doctor would be in... within. 10 minutes a very agitated and confrontational dr walks in. Dr. McDoniel explains that we don’t have to do this (examination), I can choose to leave, she hasn’t had lunch, and a number of other excuses why she was so far behind in seeing patients. I told her no it’s fine- she treats most of the members of my family and maybe she simply needs some help with scheduling and maybe not overbooking... she then continues her tirade- she doesn’t need help scheduling... and on and on... She has to remember this isn’t the NAVY anymore... maybe a review of med schools “Bedside manners 101” would serve her much better.

I made my appt over the phone and explained the 3 reasons why I needed to come in. I came for my appointment, and had to wait 1 hour. This is the first new doctor I've seen since leaving my general doc of 15 years. At first, she was very nice and kind. As we started talking, she started giving me attitude. She continuously complained that she "didn't have time for this" and that I had "too many issues" at once. It would be different if she explained NICELY that I should try to make a separate appointment for each problem next time ... but since I made this appointment over the phone, with the office she works for, I figured if that was an issue, they would've mentioned that. At one point she just got up and left, saying she'd be right back. She never came back. I left crying. On my birthday.

mis codes mammograms so insurance will not cover patient pays 100% of bill.Very bad staff.This place needs to be shut down before some one dies.
