Dr. Catherine Milner, PhD

Dr. Milner's experience and insight has been an outstanding and integral part of my recovery from a traumatic past. She has listened to me carefully and come to really understand and appreciate the difficulties I've faced not just in the past but for many years beyond those events which helped to shape the way I've come to understand the world around me. Her therapy has given me just enough challenge to help me see how I can reshape my relationship with myself and with others, without leaving me feeling as if yet another burden must be borne in order to realize lasting recovery. I cannot say enough about how much help Dr. Milner has been to me, and I recommend her in the highest way possible.

Dr. Milner has been my therapist for some time now and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care I'm receiving from her. She is exceptionally attentive and so insightful. She's helped me see ways to recover from a traumatic past that are respectful for the pain and confusion I've felt, and allow me to better deal with the issues and obstacles I've been long struggling to overcome. I feel I've made significant progress because of her patience and wisdom. She has my highest recommendation!

Do NOT go to Dr. Milner. Her treatment is fine, but she has no idea how to deal with insurance companies. She would contact me constantly throughout my workday and ask me to call the insurance co. because she couldn't figure out how to bill our appointments correctly. She would get frustrated with the process and just contact me and ask me to figure it out for her. Then, when she couldn't figure it out, she just kept seeing me and then tried to shake me down for the portion the insurance company was supposed to cover. When I said that I couldn't afford it, she sent me to a collections agency. She has no idea how to navigate technology or how to figure out insurance companies. I do not recommend seeing this person. At least, go to someone who has a billing team. Otherwise, she'll ask you to do all the work for her like she did me. Just imagine trying to seek help from someone and they keep asking you to do their accounting for them. Terrible. Shameful.
