Dr. Catherine M. Robertson, MD

I recently made an appointment to see the DR as I’ve been having hip issues for the last 2 yrs. I was told I wouldn’t see the DR but her PA. I’ve have severe spinal issues and felt uncomfortable with a PA making an assessment. My instinct was correct. After requesting to meet with the Dr I was blown off, and subsequently told to continue to try shots/PT, which I’ve already tried numerous times. I also asked what was causing my limp and she said pain.. which I knew was not correct. She also said surgery would likely make me worse. I was left defeated. Fortunately my parents are in the medical field and found highly skilled/trained Drs for me to see. Thank god I did. Neither could believe the DR wouldn’t see me and that I was told I would be worse. Please go elsewhere don’t trust a doctor who won’t look and the entire picture or take the time to meet with a patient who has been mostly bed ridden for the last 6 months. Trust me you can get much better care with a Dr who takes the time to… see their patients. Shame on her!!

I was referred to Dr. Robertson by a friend as a top Sports Medicine physician. However, my experience was very poor. I needed meniscus surgery. Dr. Robertson said I would be back to 100% health in 6-8 weeks. However, after still having knee pain at 6 weeks, she told me to start running and not come back to see her. It took me a year and a half of careful physical therapy and new related injuries along the way to get back to current state of 90-95%. However, Dr. Robertson had no interest in my condition or recovery after the surgery, despite having issues caused by the surgery. I'm in my early 30s and very physically active.
