I was a patient of hers when I was a preteen and newly diagnosed with Gastroparesis. Dr. Soprano started me in a pain clinic and when I wasn’t better she began getting annoyed, after only six months of treatments she sent my mom and I an email saying she’s no long going to prescribe me any meds and I just need psychiatric help, help that I was already getting. Four months later I wound up in CHOP for severe malnutrition and was there for 2.5 weeks before being transferred to John Hopkins for two months where they were more equipped to deal with my severe case. Had I not found an amazing and qualified team at CHOP I would’ve been dead before I even learned to drive. I survived off of feeding tubes and IV fluids for years and now I have a gastric pacemaker and have to get surgery to replace the battery every few years. I’m permanently disabled and have surgical scars that will never heal all because this “doctor” gave up when things weren’t easy. If your child is sick don’t bring them… here, go to CHOP, it may be the difference between life and death.

Dr. Soprano is an excellent doctor. She is extremely thorough in her steps she takes for a diagnosis. She responds to questions and is completely connected and cares for the patients she sees. We feel extremely fortunate to have her as our daughters Diagnostic Doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone that has a complex condition that needs some to look at the whole picture of the patient and help with a diagnosis.

This doctor is the one of the most brilliant and dedicated doctors I have ever encountered. My granddaughter is alive today because of her. She was the only doctor in a series of medical professionals our family consulted that correctly diagnosed our grandchild’s very rare genetic disease. Dr. Soprano’s refusal to give up on a very sick young child and the level of care she provided is the only reason this child is with is today. We highly recommend this doctor.
