Dr. Catherine M Westerband, MD

Dr. Westerband has been my doctor for many years and I appreciate her straight forward care. We originally selected her when I was pregnant of our first child (now 18). She helped us get to the facts and calm my other concerns which are common with first pregnancies. My pregnancies were easy, but deliveries each had their own challenges. I was once again calmed by Dr. Westerband's confidence and knowledge in these more trying situations. Over the years when concerning issues have come up (labor & delivery, front desk problems or other medical issues) Dr Westerband has proven to listen and value what we had to say. This past visit was just a follow-up, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well treated I was. Everyone I interacted with from the beginning of my visit, to the end was polite and showed care for me. Again, this hasn't always been the case, which I have communicated to Dr. Westerband and she was thankful for the feedback. The only negative thing I would warn about… would be trying to call the Genesis Office. I've recently experienced very long wait times. However, they've begun to move to more of an online system and I've received swifter response. And it helps to be able update all my information online instead of spending 30 mins before my appointment filling out paperwork.

As always, had a terrific visit with Dr. Westerband. She is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and professional. She's been my GYN for nearly 15 years and I highly recommend her.

Dr Westerband is caring and really listens when there is an issue or I'm in pain! I have been going to her for 12 years!

I have been receiving excellent care from Dr. W for 8 years now and she he been an amazing OBGYN (I always worry about what I'll do when she decides to retire)! She is consistently professional and considerate of questions or concerns I have had over the years. She is always on time, and I know my exam will be performed in a sensible and timely manner and she always takes the time to address any questions I have. In a world where it seems medical professionals have no issue wasting patient’s time, I have never had that be the case with Dr. W and that is one of the many things I highly value her for. Additionally, her bedside manner is friendly without being fake, and she remembers me every year (which is crazy due to how many patients she sees). The exam rooms are clean and orderly, scheduling an appointment is easy, and the front office and billing staff are friendly. Overall I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Westerband delivered 4 of my children. Dr. Westerband is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Westerband.

I have been seeing Dr. Westerband for over thirteen years now. She delivered my daughter 12 years ago and was extremely helpful, compassionate and caring during my high risk pregnancy. I have continued as a patient even after for my routine exams and Dr. Westerband always makes me feel welcome. Very highly recommended.

Dr Westerband isn't my normal doctor, but I was able to get in with her for an emergency. She is a fast and knowledgeable and her nurses are incredibly kind. I would recommend her.

Dr. Westerband inserted my Nexplanon Rod birth control. I usually see the FNP but for this Dr. Westerband was my Dr. and she was great! She was very nice and explained everything to me and asked if I had any questions or concerns before insertion of the birth control and even after. It was a quick process but she was great.

I used found Dr. Westerband when I had a two year old son and wanted an IUD. I was told at my last OBGYN that my uterus was not big enough for the IUD (even though its a size restriction OR have carried a baby). I was young when I got pregnant the first time and really wanted the IUD as traditional BC wasnt working for me. Westerband and her NP were wonderful explained that agree that I have carried a baby my uterus would be fine and we could take it out if needed for discomfort. I went 10 years on IUD and never had any trouble. I recently had another child and Westerband was my OBGYN and I am so grateful. I know that she was going to be real and honest through everything and to me that is the most important. Even if its hard....I knew I was in good hands. I went a month early and breach and although she was on call all my info was documented and her team took great care of me.Thank you Dr Westerband and team! Me and little Arley Jo are so grateful for you!

I have been seeing Dr. Westerband for several years now for my annual exams. She is always professional and considerate. She has answered any questions I have had. She has presented several different alternatives to problems I may have had and has let me decide which option I was comfortable with. Highly recommend her. As with any doctor's office, I've had to wait a few extra minutes in the waiting room but never more than 15 minutes.
