Dr. Cathylynn Alison Joyce, MD

I arrived at Cathy Joyce’s office ten minutes late and was refused to be seen. It was my daughter’s first appointment with Cathy. To get there on time, I drove downtown to my office and left at 2:00. I picked up my daughter, Cathy Joyce’s prospective patient, and arrived at Lutheran General Hospital with plenty of time to spare . However, we could not get a parking spot, and, despite my calls to Cathy Joyce’s office, no one told me she was in the Yacktman pavilion on the second floor. After several conversations with hospital employees, we found Cathy Joyce’s office, where she refused to see us because we were late. Nice. I’m kind of glad she treated us so poorly. We’d never seen her. If this is how she behaves, she couldn’t cut us any slack, even though my daughter has never seen her, then we’re not seeing her. There are plenty more options for us. When did Lutheran General hospital become so crappy? It used to be so good.
